What's On The Tin? A Workshop On Labels And How They Define Us
Jason B Moore is a theatre, film director and public speaker. His various projects range from classical theatre to new writing and everything in between. When Jason started directing he initially worked with new writing and then classical theatre, where he found there wasn't much of a difference between the two, and that all drama can be approached similarly. All of his work involves the discovery and psychology of our surrounding situation and how that effects who we are, so any given moment is truthful. He asks us to explore the way we behave, what makes us act or react, all the while encouraging us to stay in a state of play to achieve truth. Jason has his own theatre company where artists from many disciplines of the arts are brought together to create. He is currently working on a project through workshops and conversations with actors and non actors to explore the human psyche and the non acting of acting 'Why Feed the Drama'. Jason's work has played at such venues as The Soho Theatre, The Pleasance Theatre, Tristan Bates,The Courtyard, New End, Barons Court Theatre,The Project Theatre, Dublin and Bergen, Norway. http://www.jasonbmoore.com/ |
